As part of the International Staff Training Week (STW) “Intercultural Competences for International Mobility,” held July 6–10, 2026, at the University of Granada (Universidad de Granada), representatives from Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design participated in the event’s program.

The event was attended by representatives of higher education institutions from 21 countries, including Albania, Angola, Benin, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia, Vietnam, Ghana, Georgia, Cape Verde, Kosovo, Côte d’Ivoire, Mexico, Mozambique, Nigeria, Palestine, Tanzania, Togo, Ukraine, and Montenegro.

The main theme of International Staff Training Week was an analysis of the impact of intercultural competence on the effectiveness of academic and administrative mobility, as well as its role in improving the internationalization processes of universities.

Throughout the week, working sessions were combined with thematic discussions focused on contemporary approaches to the admission and comprehensive support of international students and staff. Participants also took part in roundtable discussions, during which they exchanged best practices and methodologies aimed at improving the quality of international mobility programs.

In addition, the program included networking sessions and one-on-one meetings at the faculties and departments of the University of Granada, during which participants discussed prospects for joint projects, academic partnerships, and further international cooperation.
