VLADYSLAV PYLYPENKO SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDED HIS PHD DISSERTATION IN SPECIALTY 122 "COMPUTER SCIENCE"

On July 27, 2026, at a meeting of the One-Time Specialized Academic Council PhD15376 at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, Vladyslav Pylypenko successfully defended his dissertation titled "Machine Learning Models and Methods for Predicting Educational Applicants' Academic Performance" to obtain the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of knowledge 12 "Information Technology", specialty 122 "Computer Science".».

The dissertation of Vladyslav Pylypenko, a postgraduate student at the Department of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, is dedicated to machine learning models and methods for predicting educational applicants' academic performance.

The members of the One-Time Specialized Academic Council noted that in terms of its relevance, degree of novelty, formulation and methodology of resolving the set issues, theoretical and practical foundation, and the validity of the obtained results, the dissertation of Vladyslav Pylypenko complies with the Requirements of the Procedure for Awarding the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy and Revoking the Decision of a One-Time Specialized Academic Council of a Higher Education Institution or Scientific Institution on Awarding the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy, approved by Resolution No. 44 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated January 12, 2022, and the Requirements for Dissertation Formatting, approved by Order No. 40 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated January 12, 2017. The discussions regarding the presented research concluded with an open vote by the members of the One-Time Specialized Academic Council.

The decision was unanimous to award Vladyslav Ihorovych Pylypenko the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 12 "Information Technology", specialty 122 "Computer Science".
