THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS BUILDS ON ITS RESEARCH ACHIEVEMENTS: SUCCESSFUL PhD THESIS DEFENCES

During August–September 2026, four postgraduate students from the Department of Economics demonstrated their academic calibre by successfully defending their PhD theses in the specialisation 051 Economics.

On 26 August 2026, at the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, Volodymyr Synytsia successfully defended his thesis on the topic «Creative Industries and Their Impact on Ukraine’s Economic Development», supervised by Svitlana Bondarenko, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor. The following participated in the meeting of the ad hoc specialised academic council PhD 15577:

On 31 August 2026, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design hosted the successful defence of Artur Kogut’s doctoral thesis entitled «Innovative revitalisation of Ukraine’s agro-industrial sector based on smart specialisation», supervised by Zoryna Shatska, Doctor of Economics, Professor. On 2 September 2026, Artem Vizhutkin successfully defended his doctoral thesis entitled «Organisational and Economic Foundations for Overcoming Wealth Inequality in the Context of Sustainable Development» at the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, under the supervision of Andrii Zolkower, Doctor of Economics, Professor. The following participated in the meeting of the ad hoc specialised academic council PhD 16045:
