SCIENTIFIC ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGIES AND RESOURCE CONSERVATION: SUCCESSFUL PHD DISSERTATION DEFENSES

During August–September 2026, three PhD students of the Department of Chemical Technologies and Resource Saving at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design successfully defended their PhD dissertations in the field of study 161 “Chemical Technologies and Engineering,” demonstrating a high level of scientific expertise and research competence.

Successful Defense of Lyubomyr Rozvora’s PhD Dissertation

On August 20, 2026, Lyubomyr Rozvora successfully defended his dissertation entitled “Development of a Technology for Producing Functional Polymer Composites with Absorption Properties,” conducted under the supervision of Dr. Sc., Professor Nadiia Sova.

On August 27, 2026, Artem Kolodii successfully defended his dissertation entitled “Development of Acrylic-Urethane Coatings with Improved Performance Characteristics for Technical Textile Materials,” conducted under the supervision of Dr. Sc., Professor Viktoriia Plavan.

On September 4, 2026, Viacheslav Shvets successfully defended his dissertation entitled “Development of Polymer Film Materials and Dental Hydrogels with Combined Action,” conducted under the supervision of Iryna Liashok, PhD, Associate Professor.
