MASTER'S PRACTICE IN THE DEPARTMENT OF MULTIMEDIA DESIGN

From September 10 to June 19, 2026, graduates of another (master’s) level of high coverage of the educational program “Design (by type)” of the Department of Multimedia Design underwent pre-graduate practice at enterprises and in companies in the field multimedia design.

The method of pre-graduation practice is the consolidation of theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired during the course of study at the university, familiarization with the peculiarities of professional activity and the minds of work in the field of multimedia design, and as well as the development of artistic, design and organizational competencies.

During the course of the master's practice, masters will establish professional design departments, become familiar with the peculiarities of the work of current multimedia companies, take part in the implementation of creative projects and collect factual materials, necessary for carrying out high-level scientific research and obtaining qualifications.

Students of the master's level will undergo pre-graduation practice at the enterprise of LLC "Animation Studio "Karandash""

One of the practice bases of the department of multimedia design is LLC “Animation Studio “Karandash”” and LLC “Studio “Chervony Sobaka””, which specialize in creative animation, motion multimedia projects. The studio's representatives have significant professional knowledge in the field of animation and multimedia production and are actively pursuing the professional training of future designers. With time of practice, students are able to work on real creative projects, become familiar with manufacturing processes, and obtain practical advice from professional concerns.

An important collaboration between the Department of Multimedia Design and professional studios is the constant exchange of information between students, students and industry representatives. This type of interaction occurs not only during practice, but also between conferences, professional meetings, presentations and other creative projects.

Pre-graduation practice for masters has become an opportunity not only to develop professional competencies, but also to lead to the implementation of real cultural projects. Thus, from 12 to 16 September 2026, the final public pitchings took place in Ivano-Frankivsk within the framework of the state initiative in support of culture. Dariia ZAGORUIKO, a research assistant at the Department of Multimedia Design, took part in the process of presenting animation projects together with the animation studio “Chervony Sobaka”. The student’s participation in professional pitching was the result of practical interaction between the university and representatives of the industry and demonstrated the potential of obtaining students before the final presentation of current multimedia products.

The collaboration of the Department of Multimedia Design with representatives of the professional industry provides important practical training for students.
