Author’s Vocal Programme by KNUTD Lecturer Denys Kocherzhuk “Warmed by Love” for the Birthday of the Hero City of Irpin

At the invitation of the Irpin City Council and the Mykhailo Verykivskyi Irpin Children’s Art School, on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the hero city of Irpin, Denys KOCHERZHUK, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Performing Arts and Culture and Deputy Dean for Academic and Research Affairs of the Faculty of Culture and Creative Industries at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, performed his original programme “Warmed by Love”.

The concert featured the author’s own compositions: “Warmed by Love”, “Dedication to Women”, “I Found”, “Stay”, “Charm”, “Triangle”, “Dawn” and others. These works received high awards at Ukrainian television festivals and international competitions between 2018 and 2026.

The audience gave the concert programme a warm reception: they not only listened to the performer with delight, but also actively joined in, singing along to familiar melodies and applauding generously. The atmosphere was especially moving, as the concert took place in a city that has become a symbol of the resilience, courage and indomitable spirit of the Ukrainian people.

The programme gained particular resonance from the themes at its heart: love, gratitude, remembrance and hope. These feelings united the performer and the listeners, reminding everyone that art has the power to bring people together, inspire them and warm their hearts even in the most difficult times.

The event became a vivid artistic gift to the residents of Irpin and the city’s guests on its anniversary, confirming that culture and the arts are an integral part of the recovery and development of the Ukrainian community.

Special thanks go to the Irpin City Council and the staff of the Mykhailo Verykivskyi Irpin Children’s Art School for their hospitality, excellent organisation and the opportunity to share his art with the residents of the hero city!
