CONGRATULATIONS TO THE RECIPIENT OF THE PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP OF UKRAINE, A PHD STUDENT AT KYIV NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGIES AND DESIGN!

We sincerely congratulate Oleksandr Oleksandrovych Kalinichenko, a PhD student at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design!

In accordance with Order No. 1712 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated October 9, 2026, Oleksandr Kalinichenko, a PhD student at the Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies, has been awarded the Academic Scholarship of the President of Ukraine.

His doctoral research, entitled “Development of Technology for the Synthesis of Biopolymers with Antimicrobial Properties,” is conducted at the Department of Chemical Technologies and Resource Conservation under the supervision of O. S. Yunhin, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor, in Specialty 161 – Chemical Technologies and Engineering.

Oleksandr Kalinichenko is actively involved in national and international research projects. From 2020 to 2022, he participated in a state-funded research project for young scientists focused on developing a collagen-based therapeutic preparation for wound treatment. Since 2021, he has contributed to research projects under the State Targeted Scientific and Technical Programme for Antarctic Research.

From 2023 to 2026, he participated in the international NATO SPS G6053 (PHYBI) project. Since 2026, he has also been involved in a research project funded by the National Research Foundation of Ukraine under the programme “Advanced Science in Ukraine 2026–2028.”

Oleksandr Kalinichenko is the author of 23 scientific publications, including four publications indexed in Scopus (three articles in international scientific journals, one of which was published in Microorganisms (Q2)), four articles in Ukrainian professional scientific journals (Category B), four chapters in collective monographs, and 11 conference abstracts presented at international and national scientific conferences.
