LECTURE BY AN ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF MULTIMEDIA DESIGN AS PART OF UKRAINIAN DESIGN AND INNOVATION WEEK

On October 9, 2026, a lecture entitled “Multimedia Content in the System of Visual Communication” was held as part of Ukrainian Design and Innovation Week and KNUTD Design Week. The lecture was delivered by Vadym Batrak, Associate Professor of the Department of Multimedia Design at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD) and a member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine.

The lecture focused on the role of multimedia content in shaping the contemporary visual communication environment. The speaker discussed the principles of content development for digital media, as well as the interaction of images, graphics, animation, video, and sound with the audience.

Particular attention was paid to media literacy and the designer’s professional responsibility for the content, visual presentation, and impact of the multimedia product on its audience.

The meeting was held online, but participants had the opportunity to ask the speaker questions about the importance and impact of multimedia content on the contemporary visual communication environment, as well as the designer’s social and professional responsibility.

The lecture was open not only to KNUTD faculty members and students but also to representatives of other educational institutions and the design industry, fostering broader collaboration and the exchange of practical experience.
