FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF DESIGN GET ACQUAINTED WITH UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENTS

On October 28, 2026, an online meeting took place between first-year students of the Faculty of Design and representatives from the Scientific and Technical Library, the Career Center, and the International Relations Department of KNUTD. Academic group curators from the Faculty of Design also joined the meeting.

Liudmyla Krekhova, Head of the Collection Preservation Department at the Scientific and Technical Library, spoke about the operations of the KNUTD library, how students can register, access library resources, and locate necessary information within the collections, the repository, and the electronic catalog.

Oleksandra Chepilko, Head of the Information and Bibliographic Department at the KNUTD Scientific and Technical Library, introduced first-year students to the principles of academic integrity and the rules for referencing sources, emphasizing the importance of correctly citing works in student assignments.

Tetiana Sinkevych, Director of the KNUTD Center for Labor and Career, explained in a simple and accessible way the opportunities the Center offers for students' professional development and job searching. She also discussed academic mobility opportunities for students, covering where to find up-to-date information, how to submit an application, and what documentation is required.
