INAUGURAL CONFERENCE ON PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICE OF SECOND-YEAR STUDENTS OF THE THIRD (EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC) LEVEL OF HIGHER EDUCATION PHD

On October 22, 2026, the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design held a constituent conference on pedagogical practice of third-year students of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education PhD.

The event was held by Alla  Semenova - Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Department of Psychology and Continuing Professional Education, head of the practice of third-year students of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education PhD, guarantor of the educational and scientific program Professional Education of the Third (Educational and Scientific) Level of PhD.

The purpose of the inaugural conference was to familiarize PhD candidates with the tasks, content, and features of organizing pedagogical practice as an important educational and scientific teaching component of training as future scientific and pedagogical workers.

During the conference, the main organizational and methodological aspects of pedagogical practice were considered, its main stages, expected learning outcomes, requirements for completing individual tasks, and preparation of reporting documentation were determined.

Particular attention was paid to the development of pedagogical skills of future doctors of philosophy, the formation of their teaching competence for independent implementation of pedagogical activity, the application of modern educational technologies, innovative teaching methods and the implementation of a student-centered approach in the educational process of a higher education institution.

The discussion emphasized the importance of integrating the results of scientific research of education seekers into teaching activities, the development of professional reflection, pedagogical responsibility and the ability to effectively interact with participants in the educational process.

As a result of the conference, the candidates were provided with the necessary recommendations on organizing and completing their teaching practice, completing the tasks stipulated by the program, and presenting the results of their activities during the final reporting conference.
