20 January 2010 International Meeting in Technology Transfer took place in Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design. Participants were Yiannis Zervas (Greece), key expert of EC project “Support to knowledge based and innovative enterprises and technology transfer to business in Ukraine”, Raimund Broechler, manager of Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) (Luxemburg) and representatives of KNUTD administration, academic and research departments. Meeting was held with assistance of Volodymyr Yaremiia, Executive Director of Ukrainian Association of Business Incubators and Informational Centres.

Yannis Zervas represented brief description of EC project “Support to knowledge based and innovative enterprises and technology transfer to business in Ukraine”. Perspectives of University participation in the project were considered.

Rimond Broshechler informed the audience about Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). Great attention was paid to the aim of EEN creation, participation advantages and offered services:

• Services in providing proper information, establishing business cooperation and internationalisation;
• Services in transfer of innovative technology and knowledge, directed at expansion of technological cooperation;
• Services in providing assistance with applying EU's 7th Research Framework Programme (FP7).

Following collaboration directions for University were defined:

• Possibility for the University to join EEN – Enterprise Europe Network;
• Support and assistance in activity of KNUTD Centre of Technology Transfer;
• Creation and support of spin-off enterprises at the University;
• Training of innovative managers for spin-off enterprises.
