The mission of the KNUTD International Relations Department (IRD) is to develop the University’s international cooperation in education, expand global partnerships, create opportunities for international academic mobility, implement international educational projects, and facilitate the University’s integration into the European Higher Education Area and the global academic community.

Key Areas of Activity of the International Relations Department:

  • Development of international cooperation with higher education institutions, research institutions, international organisations, diplomatic missions, and other partner institutions; coordination of international treaties, memoranda, and cooperation agreements; and communication with foreign partners regarding the development of the University’s international activities.
  • Organisation and coordination of international activities, including organisational support for international educational programmes and projects; coordination of the international activities of faculties and other structural units of the University; and facilitation of the University’s participation in international educational programmes, grant-funded educational projects, international initiatives, exhibitions, forums, conferences, seminars, and other international events.
  • Development of academic mobility through organisational, informational, and advisory support for international academic mobility programmes for students, postgraduate students, academic and teaching staff, and other University employees.
  • Organisation of international visits and official events, including hosting foreign delegations, lecturers, researchers, students, and representatives of partner organisations, as well as providing organisational support for their visits.
  • Information support for the University’s international activities, promotion of international opportunities available at KNUTD, and coverage of the University’s international educational activities.
  • Support for foreign nationals, including the organisation of admission, reinstatement, and study support for foreign nationals and stateless persons at the University; provision of informational and advisory assistance at all stages of admission and study; issuance of electronic invitations to study; cooperation with the authorised state authorities of Ukraine regarding the documentation required for their stay; and maintenance of relevant records in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.
