SCIENTIFIC KNUTD SCHOOLS

One of the leading forms of organizing the scientific community of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design is a strong base of scientific and scientific-artistic schools. Scientific schools of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design are the centers of the greatest concentration of creative energy, the most active influence on scientific progress. During the 90-year history of its existence, the university staff has made a worthy contribution to the development of priority areas of science and technology of Ukraine, expanding the nation's intelligence and training competitive professionals for the state. A feature of the university is the development of art and science schools, which for many years make their creative contribution to the fashion and design industry.

 

SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL: DEVELOPMENT OF THORETICAL AND APPLIED FUNDAMENTALS OF HIGHER EDUCATION ECONOMICS, PROFESSIONAL TRAINING FOR BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL: ELECTROCHEMICAL ENERGY, PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION

- 14 international grants and projects of the European Union and the United States have been implemented.

SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL: DYNAMICS OF LIQUID AND QUASI-MEDIUM ENVIRONMENTS IN TECHNOLOGICAL EQUIPMENT OF LIGHT INDUSTRY

- published more than 300 scientific papers, including 6 monographs, 2 textbooks, 10 textbooks;

SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL: PHYSICO-CHEMICAL FUNDAMENTALS OF COLLAGEN STRUCTURE FORMATION IN LEATHER AND FUR MANUFACTURING

SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL: TECHNICAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL BASIS OF IMPROVING PRODUCT QUALITY ON THE BASIS OF MODERN METHODS OF METROLOGY, STANDARDIZATION AND CERTIFICATION

SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL: IMPROVEMENT OF METHODS OF DESIGNING LIGHT INDUSTRY MACHINES

- dynamics, reliability and durability of knitting machines;

- development of means of mechanical processing of waste materials of light industry

- 9 doctoral and 84 candidate dissertations were defended;

- published more than 2,200 scientific papers, including 32 monographs, 11 textbooks and 24 textbooks;

- 1055 copyright certificates and patents for inventions and utility models were received.

- formation of the design of the external and internal environment of civil buildings and structures in terms of their reconstruction and adaptation;

- methodological principles of flexible and universal use of premises in design;

- modern approaches and ergonomic conditions for the formation of the internal environment of civil buildings for children, including those with disabilities and low mobility.

- 1 doctoral and 12 candidate dissertations were defended;

SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL: SCIENTIFIC BASIS FOR THE CREATION OF ADAPTIVE DEVICES AND SENSORY SYSTEMS FOR CONTROLLING THE PARAMETERS OF TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESSES, THE ENVIRONMENT AND ASSESSMENT OF THEIR IMPACT ON THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL STATE OF HUMAN

- 8 doctoral and 41 candidate dissertations were defended;

- published more than 380 scientific papers, including 48 monographs, textbooks and manuals;

- 980 copyright certificates and utility model patents were received.

 

SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL: DEVELOPMENT OF THEORETICAL FUNDAMENTALS OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES OF MANUFACTURE OF FINE FIBER MATERIALS

SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL: MATHEMATICAL MODELING, ALGORITHMIC AND SOFTWARE

SOCIALLY ORIENTED SEWING AND TEXTILE PRODUCTS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, SERIOUSLY SICK PEOPLE AND OTHER PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY

- development of a promising range and confection of materials for garments for people with disabilities and the seriously ill;

- improvement of methods of definition and granting of properties of safety of consumption and comfort to textile materials of various purpose;

- development of medical and health products with prolonged therapeutic and antimicrobial action from domestic textile raw materials.

Results:

- 3 doctoral and 5 candidate dissertations were defended;

- published more than 200 scientific papers, including 9 monographs, 7 textbooks and manuals;

- 13 copyright certificates and patents of Ukraine were received.

 

The creation of researchers of different generations, united by a common program and style of research under the leadership of recognized scientists, has ensured high efficiency of research, dissemination and implementation, as well as the reproduction of scientific research at qualitatively new levels. Today, the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design has formed and operates scientific and artistic schools that have made a significant contribution to the development of science and culture on a national and international scale. And, of course, in the future research at the university will deepen and develop, approaching the world level.
