The laboratory ensures the implementation of research works of teachers, postgraduate and undergraduate students in the context of the subjects of laboratory, diploma, and postgraduate works of a scientific-research nature and conducting research related to the implementation of state-contractual and state-budget scientific topics.

The main direction of activity:

- studying and researching the strength of threaded seams;

- ways and methods of processing the edges of parts of leather products;

- research of various ways of connecting details of leather goods;

- improvement of technological processes of assembling shoe upper blanks.
