The purpose of the scientific circle is to conduct a comprehensive scientific analysis of the phenomenon of the "media image of the contemporary performing artist" as a synthesis of vocal culture, acting techniques, and contemporary audiovisual practices. The society's activities aim to explore the theoretical foundations and practical instruments used to construct and promote a successful stage persona within the contemporary information and cultural domain.

 

Main tasks:

  1. Investigate the theoretical and methodological frameworks of the concept of "media image" within modern cultural and art studies.
  2. Analyze the evolution of vocal techniques and performance styles in 21st-century Ukrainian vocal art. 
  3. Examine the role and specific applications of acting technologies (stage movement, facial expressions, psychotechniques) in shaping a singer's stage image. 
  4. Master the fundamental principles of producing audiovisual content (music videos, concert performances) as key instruments for artist promotion. 
  5. Develop students' skills in critically analyzing contemporary performers' work through an integrated lens of vocal, acting, and visual components. 
  6. Test and disseminate research outcomes through the preparation of publications, conference abstracts, presentations at student conferences, round tables, and creative competitions.

 

The topic of scientific research of the student group:

  1. Audiovisual Arts – "The Impact of Music Video as an Audiovisual Genre on the Formation of an Artist's Image." 
  2. Cultural Studies – "The Singer's Media Image as a Cultural Phenomenon: Reflecting National Identity and Socio-Cultural Trends." 
  3. Musical Arts – "The Transformation of Vocal Style in 21st-Century Ukrainian Musical Art: From Traditional Folk Music to the Contemporary Pop Scene." 
  4. Performing Arts – "Performing Arts Technologies in the Creation of Contemporary Concert Shows: An Analysis of Directing, Scenography, and Stage Interaction."
  5. Choreographic Arts – "The Role of Choreography in Shaping the Visual Component and Dramaturgy of the Stage Persona of Vocalists and Stage Performers."
