On October 24, 2024, a meeting of the scientific group «Actual problems of public law» was held (leaders of the scientific group Yu.V. Onishchyk, I.A. Kovalenko). Topic: «Legal protection of personal data in the conditions of informatization».

The participants of the event discussed the problematic moments that arise during the collection, accumulation, creation, processing, storage, exchange and use of personal information. The members of the scientific circle concluded that modern trends towards a rapid increase in the amount of data circulating in the information space led to the illegal distribution and use of personal data of a person. To prevent the violation of the right to non-interference in the private life of a specific person, the institution of personal data protection needs significant improvement.
