On the occasion of World Tourism Day, on September 26, the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business of KNUTD held a festive meeting of the scientific club entitled “Current Directions in Tourism Development and Tourism Research in Times of Crisis.”

During a walk through the city center, students and lecturers discussed current trends in the tourism sector, key challenges, and relevant directions for the industry's development amid global crises and martial law in Ukraine. Particular attention was paid to the role of innovation in tourism, the prospects for sustainable development, and ways for tourism businesses to adapt to wartime realities.

The meeting was an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, engage in academic discussion, and inspire further research.
