As part of "Science Week" on May 12, 2026, a lecture-presentation on the topic "Marketing in R&D: how new products are born" was held. The event was organized for members of the scientific circle "Student Marketing Club M-Team" and was dedicated to the role of marketing in the process of developing new products, researching consumer needs and practical aspects of bringing innovative products to the market.



The speaker of the event was Valentina Onyshchenko, Marketing Director of TM "Dobrodiya". During the meeting, she spoke about how new product ideas are born, how marketing research helps determine the expectations of the target audience and why consumer feedback is an important stage in the process of creating competitive products.
The practical part of the event was a tasting of a new line of instant cereals for a youth audience. Participants had the opportunity to evaluate the taste characteristics of the presented products, share their own impressions, identify the most attractive flavors and make suggestions for improving the product.
The purpose of the tasting was to determine the taste preferences of the youth audience, assess the level of interest in the new product and collect feedback on the presented line of cereals. This format of the event allowed members of the scientific circle to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience and see how marketing and R&D interact in the process of creating new products.




As a result of participating in the event, members of the circle gained practical skills in analyzing consumer preferences, evaluating a new product, generating feedback, determining the needs of the target audience and understanding the process of developing and promoting innovative products. Participants also deepened their ability to critically evaluate product characteristics, express their own opinion in a reasoned manner, and apply a marketing approach to analyzing new products.
