Members of the scientific club "Prospects of Alternative Energy" - Dmytro TSYBULENKO (group BEM-24, educational program "Electromechanics") and Polina KLETSKO (group BKI-23, educational program "Computer Systems and Networks") - took part in the startup project competition "Best Startup of KNUTD 2025", held on November 18, 2025, as part of the International Conference of Higher Education Students and Young Scientists "Innovation in Education, Science and Business: Challenges and Opportunities".
Students Dmytro TSYBULENKO and Polina KLETSKO presented the startup project "Solar 3D Printing Saves Lives", developed under the supervision of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics, Prof. Iryna SHVEDCHYKOVA. The startup focuses on creating a portable 3D printing system powered by solar panels to manufacture medical devices directly in the field, without a connection to a stationary power supply.
Based on the competition results, the team earned an honorable 3rd place and received the corresponding diploma. Drawing on the materials of their work, a research paper titled "Photovoltaic 3D Printing: Prospects for Application in Military-Medical Purposes" was prepared and included in the proceedings of the XIV Scientific Conference "Scientific Achievements of 2025" (Kharkiv, December 18, 2025). We wish our students continued success in their scientific activity.
