PRACTICAL WORK OF STUDENTS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE SCIENTIFIC CLUB OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY "SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENTS IN THE DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING OF FASHION INDUSTRY PRODUCTS"

From February 15, 2026 to April 30, 2026, at the Department of Fashion Technology, within the framework of the work of the scientific circle "Scientific developments in the design and manufacturing of fashion industry products" under the leadership of Antonina Babych, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor and Timofiy Lipsky, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, a series of practical seminars on the development and manufacturing of shoe collections on the topic "From idea to finished product", which are presented at the international competition "Pechersk Chestnuts-2026".

The events took place in the design studio of the Department of Fashion Technology, KNUTD. The leaders of the circle Antonina Babych and Tymofiy Lipsky conducted seminars in the specified thematic format, introduced the circle members to fashion trends and modern technological and technical innovations in fashion industry products. During the seminars, the circle members exchanged creative ideas on developing the concept of making collections, considered modern materials and stages of manufacturing products of this segment.

During the work of the scientific circle, the applicants presented their creative developments (sketches, models, collages, etc.), read reports. In the discussion, the members of the scientific circle discussed sources of inspiration and technologies for manufacturing and decorating products for creating original works and their presentation in various creative competitions.

Among the finalists of the competition "Pecherské kashtany -2026" applicants Iryna Trandafilova (collection "Alchemy of germination"); Daria Kukharchuk (collection "ECDYSIS"), Polina Portyana (collection "Jewelry Steps"); Anna Shyshka (collection "Under the Scale").

The creative atmosphere of the group inspired the participants to acquire new professional knowledge and encouraged the desire to work with various materials and techniques to create modern exclusive products to meet their own needs and the needs of potential consumers.
