On May 20, 2026, the Department of Interior and Furniture Design hosted the final meeting of the academic year for the research club “Promising Directions in Scientific and Practical Activities in Contemporary Environmental Design,” led by Tetyana Bulgakova, Ph.D., Associate Professor. The meeting focused on the psychological and ergonomic aspects of modern interior design. Club members examined the impact of spatial, color, and functional-planning solutions on human comfort, emotional state, and behavior, and discussed contemporary approaches to creating a human-centered environment.

During the meeting, students presented the results of their research, exchanged experiences regarding the application of ergonomic principles in the design of residential and public spaces, and participated in a professional discussion on current trends in environmental design.
Special attention was given to summarizing the club’s work during the 2025–2026 academic year. Participants discussed the results of their research, participation in scientific and practical events, as well as promising directions for the student research group’s future work.
The club’s work contributes to the development of students’ scientific potential, the formation of professional competencies, and the promotion of scientific activity among the student body.
