The world is changing too rapidly, and a traditional university education is no longer always sufficient to ensure leadership in the modern labour market. Recognising these challenges, the members of the "Biotechnologist" research group – Kristina Huseinova, Vladyslava Potupa, Anastasiia Petrukh, Anna Kyselova, Andrii Khoma, and Khrystyna Svyryd – made a powerful leap in their professional development by becoming active participants in the training courses: "SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL ADAPTATION" and "21ST CENTURY SKILLS". Both unique educational initiatives took place concurrently throughout March 2026. They were implemented within the framework of the large-scale European program "SEAL-NR: Development of Adaptive Leadership Skills in the New Reality" (ERASMUS+ project, No. 101193445). These intensive training sessions, each encompassing 90 academic hours (resulting in 3 ECTS credits per program for each participant), became a true digital marathon for youth and a unique space for immersion in the world of innovation, virtual exchanges, and modern business. The students did not merely attend lectures; they learned to think flexibly, analyse the characteristics of the modern world, investigate global trends in labour transformation, and comprehensively prepare for the new reality of the labour market. The organisers paid particular attention to developing effective youth employment strategies that will enable graduates to feel confident during job interviews and build successful careers. The module on psychological adaptation, resilience, and stress management proved extremely valuable and cross-cutting for both courses, teaching students how to maintain mental health and find internal balance amid continuous change. The primary advantage of both programs lies in their practical orientation, as students acquire real capital of knowledge for working in international digital teams and launching their own innovative projects.
We sincerely THANK the project team (https://knutd.edu.ua/grants/k2-seal-nr/) – its leader, Alla KASYCH, and the staff of the Department of Management KNUTD for this opportunity!
