MEETING OF THE SCIENTIFIC CLUB “BUSINESS-ORIENTED COMMUNICATION: INFORMING COLEAGUES ABOUT CHANGES AND COMPANY NEWS"

On May, 12th, 2026, a regular meeting of the scientific club “Business-oriented communication” (English) was held supervised by Liudmyla Roienko.  During the meeting, students studied the functional vocabulary of the English language used according to the topic “Informing colleagues about changes.” Students studied how to properly inform colleagues orally and in writing about changes occurring in the work process. The participants of the meeting drew attention to common mistakes that should be avoided: before informing about changes, it is important to explain why the previous state of affairs is no longer possible, colleagues will be much more actively supportive of changes if they understand what problem this solution will solve. Timely informing company employees contributes to a positive working atmosphere. Students deepened their knowledge and improved their language skills in using language clichés and English phrases used when writing an email on the topic «Notifying co-workers of a change in procedure. Notifying co-workers of company news», studying the rules of business written communication. During the meeting, students presented their reports, which they prepared for participation in the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Dialogue of Cultures in the European Educational Space":
