ACTIVITIES OF THE STUDENT SCIENTIFIC CLUB "POLYMER MATERIALS IN PHARMACY" DURING THE SECOND SEMESTER OF THE 2025–2026 ACADEMIC YEAR

During the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, the activities of the Student Scientific Club "Polymer Materials in Pharmacy" were focused on enhancing students' theoretical knowledge and developing practical skills in the design of modern pharmaceutical and cosmetic products based on polymeric materials and biopolymers. The club's work combined research activities, experimental studies, analysis of current scientific literature, and dissemination of research findings through participation in scientific conferences.

During the club meetings, students explored modern approaches to the development of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products using polymer carriers, natural biopolymers, pharmaceutical excipients, and innovative active ingredients. Particular attention was paid to the formulation development, manufacturing technologies, and evaluation of the quality, stability, and safety of cosmetic products.

Throughout the semester, the club members carried out a number of research projects, the results of which were presented at the VIII All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Current State and Prospects for the Development of the Chemical, Food, and Perfumery and Cosmetic Industries" (Khmelnytskyi, May 29, 2026).

All club members successfully presented the results of their research at the conference, received certificates of participation, and had their abstracts published in the conference proceedings.

Participation in the conference contributed to the development of students' scientific communication skills, scientific writing abilities, and experience in presenting research findings to the professional community. Furthermore, it enhanced their motivation for further research activities. The work of the scientific club demonstrated students' strong interest in the development of innovative pharmaceutical and cosmetic products based on polymeric materials and modern biotechnological approaches.
