Student self-government is the right and the ability of students to solve independently issues about studying and daily life, the protection of the rights and interests of students, and taking part in the management of the higher education institute.

Student self-government is ruled by the current legislation, the charter of the institution of higher education, the statute of the student government and other acts adopted in accordance to it.

The purpose of student self-government is protection the rights and interests of students, their participation in the management of higher education institution, and creation opportunities for the harmonious intellectual and creative development of students, promotion social and public activity of the students.
