Purposes of the scientific club: to develop and enhance higher education students' English communicative competence in professional and business interaction; foster strategies for effective professional communication and engage students in research activities within modern business linguistics and digital linguodidactics. Main tasks: to deep knowledge of the specifics of Business English, business etiquette, and international protocol; to develop oral business communication skills: delivering presentations, self-presentation, negotiating, public speaking, and participating in discussions; to cultivate cross-cultural communication skills and overcoming linguistic and cultural barriers in an international business environment; to engage students in the analysis of current trends in business discourse, as well as the stylistic, lexical, and grammatical features of business language; to prepare student publications (conference abstracts, research papers) and facilitating participation in academic and practical conferences, roundtables, and debates; to foster critical thinking and skills in searching, systematizing, and analyzing academic and information sources. Research topics of the student club: cross-cultural aspects of business interaction, lexical and stylistic features of modern English business discourse, strategies for effective presentation and persuasion, written business communication.
