The purpose of the activity of the scientific group: deepening of theoretical and practical knowledge regarding perspective innovative technologies in energy, formation of students of higher education and postgraduate students' interest in solving problems of alternative energy. Main tasks: conducting seminars, round tables, and meetings on discussion of theoretical and practical issues on alternative energy; participation in student scientific conferences in Ukraine and abroad, preparation of scientific publications. Topics of scientific research of the student group: forecasting systems of solar generation; studying the characteristics of wind and photoelectric energy converters; storage elements in power supply systems of local facilities with renewable sources; use of multifunctional grid inverters; studying the possibilities of increasing the efficiency of power supply systems with renewable energy sources.
