Student Scientific Circle "Actual trends in tourism development and tourism research in times of crisis"

Purpose of the Scientific Circle: to deepen students' knowledge and skills in tourism activities, study current issues of strategic development of the hotel and restaurant business in Ukraine and the world, reveal problems of management, forecasting and planning of enterprises in the hospitality and tourism industry, identify and evaluate current trends of their economic growth.

Main Tasks: creating conditions for creative, intellectual, spiritual and physical development of students during extracurricular time; involving students in research activities, participation in scientific and business projects, conferences and competitions; promoting tourism as a way of sports, cognitive, recreational activities for students; conducting joint research with the participation of teachers, students and business representatives; organizing meetings and master classes with experts in the tourism industry and hospitality, lecturers from higher education institutions, representatives of government and business.

Topics of Student Circle Research: hospitality industry in Ukraine as a 21st century phenomenon; hotel business: theory and practice; promoting domestic tourism among Ukrainians.
