COLLECTIVE EXHIBITION OF LECTURERS OF THE FACULTY OF DESIGN KNUTD "COLORS OF ART"
The exhibition is dedicated to the Artist's Day and the 95th anniversary of the founding of KNUTD, its goal is to show the artistic talents of the teachers of the KNUTD faculty, who find their expression in works of art. The exhibition covers a wide range of artistic techniques, combining traditional and modern methods of execution, which makes it possible to create bright, emotionally rich images that impress with their expressiveness and colors. The exhibition demonstrates not only the high level of skill of the authors, but also their creative view of the reflection of reality using the techniques of traditional and modern art.
Among the authors of the exhibition are experienced teachers of the Faculty of Design, KNUTD: Yevhen Gula, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine; Swiatoslaw Podlewski, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine; Volodymyr Padun, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine; Anatoly Shapoval, Professor, KNUTD, member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine; Oleksandr Krotevych, Candidate of Art History, Associate Professor, Member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine; Oksana Maznichenko, Member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine, Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine; Alla Osadcha, Doctor of Philosophy, Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine; Oleksandr Vasyliev, Doctor of Philosophy, Member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine and other talented artists whose works are a true embodiment of high standards of art education and culture.
Yevhen GULA, painter, graphic artist, monumentalist, professor of KNUTD, professor of the Department of Graphic Design of KNUTD, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine. In 1979 he graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute (now NAOMA). His teachers were: I. O. Kovtonyuk, V. S. Boldyrev, V. G. Vyrodova-Gautier, V. I. Syngayivsky. Since 1980 he has been a participant in all-Ukrainian and foreign art exhibitions. The artist’s works are kept in state and private collections of Ukraine, Poland, Germany, France, the USA, and China.
Swiatoslaw PODLEWSKI, artist, art critic, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor, associate professor of the Department of Graphic Design KNUTD, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, member of the All-Ukrainian Creative Union of Artists "BZH-ART". Graduated from the National University "Chernihiv Collegium" named after T. G. Shevchenko. Participant of many Ukrainian and international art exhibitions, founder and curator of the art space Library Art Center in Chernihiv. Curator of projects of the Ukrainian Center for Contemporary Art "SOVIART". The artist's works are kept in museums and private collections in Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Denmark, Canada, and the USA.
Volodymyr PADUN, artist, assistant at the Department of Multimedia Design KNUTD, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, regular participant in the art commune "Squat on Olehivska Street". He graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (the Faculty of Painting, the Department of Monumental Art, 1996). One of the founders of the art association "Kholodny VEL" (Squat on Olehivska Street). His artistic practice includes painting, happening, and performance art. He has lots of Honors and Awards: as well, Badge of Honor "Volunteer" from the Commander of the Volunteer Cossack Company BUK (March 14, 2017); Certificate of Honor from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "For Services to the Ukrainian People" (March 13, 2018).
Alla OSADCHA, artist, graphic, Doctor of Philosophy in Design, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Graphic Design KNUTD, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, the Member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine, the Member of the International Art Association 'Come Back Alive!'. She graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in 2001. The artist studied at the experimental graphics workshop of Professor Mykola Kompanets. She works in design, painting, graphics and book illustration. She uses a combination of graphic materials, acrylic and oil painting techniques in her work. Alla Osadcha has participated in exhibitions at the national and international levels. Her creative works are kept in private collections in Ukraine, the USA, Germany, Sweden, and Lithuania.
Oleksandr KROTEVYCH, artist, designer, Associate Professor of the Department of Graphic Design of the KNUTD, candidate of art history, member of the National Union of Designers of Ukraine, the International Art Association "Return Alive!". Studied in the studio of the artist I.V. Khytsiak at the KDIK. Works in the field of graphic design, monumental art, painting and graphics. Participant of national and international exhibitions. Creative works are stored in private collections in Ukraine, Great Britain, Cyprus. Author of the patented Alphabet of Ukrainian Letters. Co-author and executor of the program for the implementation of art objects in the environment (7 large-scale murals) of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.
Liliia ZHURAVEL-ZMIEIEVA, artist of decorative and applied arts, Doctor of Philosophy, head of the department of graphic design of the Kyiv National University of Applied Arts. She received her education at the Kyiv State Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design named after M. Boychuk. She works in the field of decorative painting, artistic textiles, collage, abstraction. Researcher of modern artistic textiles, conceptual art, graphic techniques and advertising. In her work, she uses symbolism and philosophical interpretation of concepts, images or mythical plots.
Oksana MAZNICHENKO, graphic artist, designer, illustrator, associate professor of the Department of Graphic Design of the Kyiv State Art Institute, member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine. She received a higher professional education at the Kyiv State Institute of Arts, studied at the Faculty of Graphics in the book graphics workshop of Prof. V.Ya. Chebanyk. She began her exhibition activity in 1980, and since 2008 she has been combining creative work with teaching activities. She works in leading Ukrainian publishing houses in the field of book illustration. She also embodies her experience in the field of graphic art in her paintings. Her paintings are characterized by clarity of idea, conciseness and expressiveness of expressive means, and clear composition. Laureate of international and all-Ukrainian competitions. Her creative works are kept in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
Anatoly SHAPOVAL, graphic artist, professor of KNUTD, associate professor of the department of multimedia design KNUTD, member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine. Graduated from the Ukrainian Polygraphic Institute named after I. Fedorov, department of book graphics. Creatively works in easel graphics and painting, computer graphics, photography, book illustration. Uses various graphic techniques (airbrush, rapidographs, etching, etc.). Participant of many exhibitions, works are exhibited in Ukraine and abroad.
Liliia BEZUGLA, artist, senior lecturer at the Department of Interior and Furniture Design KNUTD. Graduated from the Uman State Pedagogical University named after P.G. Tychyna with a specialization “Fine Arts” in 2000. She fonds of decorative and applied arts, s studies decorative painting of the village of Samchyki, Petrykivka decorative painting, vytynanki, Easter egg making, wax wreaths, beadwork, modeling. Took courses from folk masters Viktor Rakovsky, Olga Mashevskaya. Her paintings in the style of Samchykivka painting take prizes at international exhibitions.
Aureliia KOLIESNIKOVA, graphic artist and designer, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Graphic Design KNUTD. In 2017, she graduated the National Academy of Managerial Staff of Culture and Arts. She has experience in the field of monumental art and design. In her creative practice, she works with painting, and graphics, using a variety of techniques and materials that integrate academic traditions with contemporary methods. She also takes part in art exhibitions and creative projects.
Oleksandr VASYLIEV, Designer, Doctor of Philosophy in Design, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Graphic Design KNUTD, Member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine. Graduated from the International Solomon University in 2007 and KNUTD in 2021. Participant of art exhibitions and competitions.
