The Labor and Career Center is a structural unit of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, whose task is to streamline the work on establishing cooperation with employers and facilitating the employment of students and graduates of the University. The unit was established in 2014 on the basis of the KNUTD Student Employment Department.
Since 2014, the Labor and Career Center was headed by Tetiana Izovit, PhD in Economics, President and Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Association of Light Industry Enterprises Ukrlegprom.
In 2019, the head of the structural unit was Tetiana KULIK, Doctor of Technical Sciences.
Since 2022, the Center has been headed by Olga Chernysh, PhD in Economics.
The main task of the Center is to provide thousands of graduates, postgraduates and students of the University with various employment assistance, including temporary and seasonal employment. Employees of the unit establish contacts with potential employers to form a database of permanent and temporary vacancies, they organize and conduct trainingsessions, presentations, seminars, consultations, and workshops aimed at facilitating the employment of students. The unit continuously monitors the labor market, tracks its main trends and dynamics, and it is engaged in interregional and international cooperation.
The main goal of the unit is to facilitate the employment of KNUTD students and graduates and their adaptation to practical activities, increasing their competitiveness in the labor market; Establish and strengthen close ties and cooperation between business and education.
KNUTD graduates are highly valued both in the domestic and international labor market and have significant opportunities for self-realization and career development. Our students and graduates are successfully working in various industries at enterprises and institutions of various fields of activity.
