PETD DEPARTMENT EXHIBITION: "FLOURISHING UKRAINE, FERTILE UKRAINE!"

On October 1st, the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design hosted the opening of the exhibition "Fertile Ukraine, Flourishing Ukraine!" The exhibition was prepared by students of the Department of Professional Education in Technologies and Design (PETD).

The exposition featured a series of decorative panels created by students using fabric, leather, and papier-mâché. Each piece symbolizes love for the native land, its beauty, strength, and generosity.

At the heart of the exhibition are images embodying the soul of Ukraine: poppies and sunflowers, viburnum, cherries, mallow, pumpkin, apple, bindweed, and thistle. Each artwork reflects a unique mood, color palette, and feeling—from the gentle light of summer to deep gratitude for the land that provides life and inspiration. This collection stands as a visual poem about Ukraine—fertile, hardworking, resilient, yet tender and poetic.

The exhibition captivated visitors with the sincerity and heartfelt execution of the works. Through art, the young creators conveyed not only natural beauty but also a deep emotional meaning: the connection of generations, memory, fortitude, and love for the Homeland.

During the event, host Daria Bilotska noted that these works are not just a decoration of the university space, but a demonstration of deep love for their country and proof that creativity can be the language of the heart. Guests expressed gratitude to the Department for preserving and developing national traditions in combination with a modern artistic vision.

The event once again confirmed that art is capable of uniting, inspiring, and supporting, and the creativity of KNUTD students is living proof of how colors and images can tell the story of Ukraine—flourishing, strong, and unconquered.
