The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Austria’s Agency for Education and Internationalization have announced a competition for joint Ukrainian-Austrian research projects to be implemented in 2025-2026 (hereinafter - the competition).

The competition is open to any research groups of higher education institutions, scientific institutions of both countries in all academic disciplines and thematic areas, including social sciences and humanities.

The application is submitted in the functional module of the National Electronic Scientific Information System with an electronic digital signature.

The deadline for submission is October 25, 2024 (by 13:00).

Selection stages:

• verification of documents for compliance with the formal requirements of the competition;
• submission of applications for scientific review;
• conducting scientific reviews in parallel in both countries;
• ranking the list of projects based on the results of scientific expertise of both parties;
• selection and approval of research projects for funding at a meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-Austrian Mixed Commission on Scientific and Technical Cooperation;
• publishing information about the winners of the competition on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science.
