Magna Charta Observatory invites higher education seekers to the launch webinar of the 2025 Essay Competition (hereinafter – the Competition), which will take place on:

The Competition is open to students from all universities worldwide and aims to encourage reflection on how universities can better engage with stakeholders to improve access to higher education and enhance the quality of the student learning experience.

The winning students will receive funded travel and participation in one of two prestigious conferences: the Magna Charta Observatory Conference in London or the World Access to Higher Education Conference in South Africa.

During the webinar:

• The official theme and participation guidelines for the Competition will be announced.
• The 2024 winner from Brazil, Hellena Leão, will share her experience.
• Key speakers, including Peter Kwasi Kodjie, Secretary General of the All-Africa Students Union, and David Lock, Secretary General of the Magna Charta Observatory, will present the initiative and respond to questions.
