Sail and Learn in Croatia

PAR University of Applied Sciences is excited to introduce a groundbreaking summer program: Europe's only summer school combining sailing the Adriatic Sea with courses in tourism management.

The summer school Sail&Learn offers international students a unique cultural and educational experience. The summer school program is organized as a boot camp with innovative models and teamwork.

Throughout the 14-day program, participants visit cultural and historical sights on the islands that help them develop a sense of local culture and gain an understanding how the life on the islands are intertwined. Besides that,  students analyse examples of innovative tourist services and products which help them develop their ideas within the program itself.  The additional workshops connect sustainable Tourism management. The participants will also learn how to develop their digital and leadership skills.

Dates: July 7th – July 18th, 2025

Location: Rijeka, Croatia (and the Adriatic Sea)

Format: Blended learning—onboard lectures, workshops, and practical sailing

Credits: 10 ECTS-compatible for easy transfer (5 ECTS per week)

After the program participants will be able to:
