The Ministry of Education and Science announces a competition for obtaining state scholarships for the best young scientists to perpetuate the events of the Revolution of Dignity and honor the feat of the Heroes of Ukraine – the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred (hereinafter referred to as the Competition). The Сompetition starts on August 22, 2025. The relevant decision was made by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of 22.08.2025 № 1172.

Based on the results of the competitive selection, the best young scientists will be awarded 25 state named scholarships for a period of one year in the amount of two subsistence minimums for able-bodied persons each in five nominations:

• scholarship named after Dmytro Maksimov;
• scholarship named after Nazarii Voytovych;
• scholarship named after Roman Guryk;
• scholarship named after Ustym Holodnyuk;
• scholarship named after Yuriy Popravka.

Terms of participation:

• applicants must be under 35 years of age as of January 1 of the year of payment for those with a master's degree and under 40 years of age for doctors of science or doctoral students;
• applicants must have significant scientific achievements (monographs, articles in Web of Science, Scopus, patents, etc.);
• active civic position.

Documents will be accepted until September 22, 2025, through the National Electronic Scientific Information System “URIS.” They can be submitted at: https://nauka.gov.ua/information/ns2025/.

Note: payment of scholarships will begin on January 1, 2026.
