On the initiative of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Cyprus, together with the NGO "UA Experts" and in partnership with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine and the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, we are announcing a nationwide competition for research articles in English on the topic "Lessons from Cyprus for Ukraine's Path to the European Union".

The competition is dedicated to the Republic of Cyprus' presidency of the Council of the EU in 2026 and aims to stimulate academic discussions on human capital development, leadership and legal reforms in the context of Ukraine's European integration

We invite students and young researchers to participate – this is a great opportunity to explore a topical issue and become a driving force for change!

Prizes for the winners include publication of an article in the UA Experts newsletter, an internship in the Ukrainian government sector, and gifts from partners.

The deadline for submitting entries is 21 September 2025.
