The UK-UA STEM PRO program is a professional development program for Ukrainian teachers and young scientists in STEM fields, aimed at strengthening cooperation between the academic communities of Ukraine and the United Kingdom. The initiative is designed to provide participants with modern knowledge, practical tools and international contacts for the development of scientific research, its commercialization and the creation of partnerships with business. Participation in the program will contribute to the development of sustainable ties between universities and the business sector, the formation of joint projects and the development of the innovative economy of Ukraine.

The program was launched on the initiative of the Foundation of the President of Ukraine, in partnership with the University of Warwick and with the support of the UK-Ukraine Academic Diaspora Network and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom.

The program consists of three stages:

I. Educational part (November 2025 – January 2026): 10 online sessions for 30 participants with the participation of British professors, business representatives, and Ukrainian academic diaspora in the UK.

II. Study visit to the United Kingdom (February 2026): The 10 most active participants, selected through a competitive selection process, will visit the University of Warwick and partner institutions.

III. Final stage (March 2026): participants will develop and implement practical projects in partnership with Ukrainian businesses, drawing on the experience of their British colleagues.

Who can apply:

• Teachers and researchers of Ukrainian universities in STEM fields.

• English level – B2 and above.

• Priority: age up to 40 years or degree obtained no more than 10 years ago.

Participation in the program is free of charge.

Application dates: October 30, 2025 – November 9, 2025.

Program duration: November 2025 to March 2026.
