The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine informs about the start of document submission for participation in the competitive selection for the appointment of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine scholarship named after Borys Paton for young scientists for 2027.

The following are welcome to apply:

— young scientists under 35 years of age (with a higher education degree not lower than a master's degree);

— scientists under 40 years of age who hold a doctorate degree;

— researchers working on important fundamental or applied research and planning to complete their scholarship work within a year.

Up to 50 scholarships are awarded each year.

The amount is five times the minimum subsistence level for able-bodied persons per month.

Nominations are made by decision of the academic council of the institution.

The deadline for submitting documents is April 30, 2026 inclusive.
