As a part of educational practice of 2016-2017 academic year, the Department of Biotechnology, Leather and Fur, and the Department of Technology and Designing of Garments made interdepartmental cooperation in making of the collection of clothes made out of natural fur.

As part of the planned activities, the students of 2 and 3 years of the Department of Biotechnology, Leather and Fur manufacturing of rabbit fur was conducted in the experimental workshop of the department. As part of educational practice the students of the Department of Biotechnology, Leather and Fur acquired practical skills of fur production, successfully mastered the preparatory and basic processes of manufacture of fur, completed fur finishing according to the planned color scheme of the future clothing collections.

The students of the Department of Biotechnology, Leather and Fur with full responsibility treated the objectives of interdepartmental cooperation and successfully completed its first phase.

The samples were transferred to the Department of Technology and Design of Sewing Products to design and sew clothing collection.

We expect a continuation of the results of cooperation and successful presentation of the cloth collection.
