Every spring, Kyiv national University of technologies and design honors the memory of the Great Ukrainian Kobzar – Taras Shevchenko, returning to his literary, national artistic heritage. At a high level are Shevchenko days, students and the university staff have the opportunity to listen to works by T. Shevchenko in the performance of outstanding academic artistic groups of Ukraine and the masters of artistic expression.

On March 28, 2017, the University welcomed in its walls the Municipal Academic Men's Choir Chapel named after L. Revutsky, the main conductor – honored artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Kurach. This unsurpassed collective presented a large concert program, in which the works of T. Shevchenko, as well as Ukrainian folk and modern songs were played.

The students and the staff of the university listened to the bright and lyrical performances of the artists with bated breath. Special interest in the Ukrainian cultural heritage is always shown by foreign students studying at our university.

Those present had the opportunity to enjoy the works of the Great Kobzar performed by the Hero of Ukraine, People's Artist of Ukraine, laureate of the National Prize of Ukraine named after Taras Shevchenko Anatoly Palamarenko. His masterly mastery of the word strikes to the depths of the soul and does not leave any listener indifferent.

With gratitude to all those present, the rector of the university, professor, academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine Grischenko Ivan Mikhailovich addressed.
