On March 28-30, the only exhibition in Ukraine was held in the IX International Specialized Exhibition Kiev Technical Fair & Addit Expo 3d & Plast Expo UA - 2017, which brings together specialists from raw materials production, creation of the newest domestic equipment models and automation of technological processes. As part of familiarizing and teaching new technologies in engineering, the exhibition was visited by teachers and students of the Department of Applied Mechanics and Machines of the Faculty of MСT.

Opening of the exhibition was accompanied by workshops in the application of 3D-technology to design and calculations snap molds, additive technology and other priority technologies in various fields of engineering.

At the invitation of the Engineering company "Technopolis" which is the official Creo PTC (USA), teachers and students of the department of applied mechanics and cars took part in the seminar on "Integrated Technology PTC CAD Creo Parametric for design, virtual simulation and preparation for the manufacture of products which are made by 3D printing and molding plastic »(CAD / CAM / ADDIT).

The Rules of the seminar were discovered issues devoted to:

- new opportunities in the design CAD PTC Creo 4.0;

- the subtleties of design and foundry snap;

- Addit - twenty-first century technology of PTC lnc.;

- Design technologies MSC Software and PTC lnc.;

- Modeling casting of plastics;

- Technology for 3D printing.

After the seminar, the students acquainted with the new features of CAD PTC Creo 4.0, and convinced of the urgency and relevance of new technology design, engineering calculation and advanced prototyping, which is an integral part of the "PTC Academic Program Inc. (USA) KNUTD. "

In the exhibition, most of additive technologies used in various fields of engineering, medicine, jewelry industry, manufacturing and engineering.

Students had the opportunity to learn about new printing SLA, LCD 3D printers Liquid Crystal, Smartprint, as well as with SLM - Technology (selective laser melting systems), 3D -print metals, ceramics and others.

There were also presented innovative technology and equipment to produce plastic parts, mold manufacturing, domestic and foreign manufacturers.

Much attention is attracted extruder technology manufacturing parts and their diversity, ways and opportunities for improvement.

As a result of the exhibition, students of the Applied Mechanics and machinery were introduced to new advances in science, engineering and technology necessary for innovation development of economy of Ukraine. Also, in order to exchange experiences, internships and employment of graduates found new business relationships with companies.
