Recently in Kyiv a city tournament in table tennis, where the students of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design took an active part, was held. Our University was represented by two teams: the first - Vladislav Mishchenko and Nikita Chyhaleychyk, the second - Igor Zavhorodskyy and Eugene Kizilov.
In the Universiade was attended by 40 players. About 20 of them were rated and 6 were candidates for the master of sports, of which there was team player KNUTD – Vladislav Mishchenko. The tournament was held in several stages, where each player could earn points for his team. The strongest players competed for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
After personal meetings teams were formed and pairs of meeting were held. Each of the players showed a good result and diligence, presenting their University. According to players, this year's tournament was much more difficult than the previous, and get into the top-10 was a great success. The tennis player of our team Vladislav Mishchenko took 5th place, which is a great achievement.
