Successful cooperation of scientists of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design and historical museum named after V. Tarnowskyi in Chernihiv were finished with two bright spring events.

The exhibition «Japan - the country of Sakura» was provided March 24, 2017 in Chernihiv Historical Museum named after V. Tarnowskyi to the Year of Japan in Ukraine. The exhibition was created from pieces of XIX - early XX century. from the museum specimens and reconstruction of traditional female costumes created by a group of teachers and students of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design (costume design department of art, heads - Tatiana Nykolayeva, Galina Kokorina, Irina Davydenko).

To the International Museum Day on May 20 2017 Chernihiv Historical Museum hosted the event "Night at the Museum", within which was showed historical reconstruction models of European dress from the collection of the department.
