A session of the workshop "Small solar generation in Ukraine: problems and perspectives" was held in Kyiv National University of Technology and Design on June 23, 2017.

The Vice-Rector of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design Victor Kaplun opened the workshop, welcoming the participants.

Professor Igor Litvine, Nelson Mandela University (Port Elizabeth, South Africa) took part in the workshop.

Representatives of leading companies in installation of solar panels in Ukraine, namely the technical director of the LLC «Avante» Alexander Sokirzhinsky and technical expert of the company «Atmosphere - Technology of Nature» Dmitry Korotchenko participated in the discussions and highlighted many interesting technical problems associated with the introduction of small-scale solar energy installations.

A lively panel discussion between scientists of the Kiev National University of Technology and Design, the National University of Life and Environmental Science of Ukraine, the Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management of The National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" and representatives of companies concluded the workshop.
