On October the 31st 2017 at the Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies an open lecture was given by the outstanding Ukrainian scientist in the field of colloidal chemistry and water chemistry, Professor Anatoly Zapolsky, entitled: "Water and some problems of modern chemistry". The lecture was attended by students, graduate students and university academic staff. The lecture was held in a discussion format, during which students, along with teachers, considered new approaches to mechanisms of chemical reactions involving water. The lecturer inspired future specialists to continue searching for new progressive methods of water treatment.
