Within the framework of the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on cooperation in science, education and culture, the Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania, the Protocol of the sixth meeting of the bilateral Ukrainian-Lithuanian Commission on Cooperation in the Field of Science and Technologies, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania and the Lithuanian Research Council held and a competition of joint Ukrainian-Lithuanian research projects for realization in 2018-2019. Eleven universities from both countries were nominated.
Among the winners the team of the Faculty of Business and Law (Dean Dr. Ludmila Hanuschak-Efimenko) of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, headed by Dr. Valeriia Scherbak – Head of the Department of entrepreneurship and business.
With the support of the KNUTD Project Management Office, the team of the faculty together with scientists of the Vilnius University of Applied Sciences developed a research project: “Ukrainian educational platform (for demobilized soldiers ATO) – the educational road map “Step to entrepreneurship”, which successfully passed the scientific examination conducted in parallel in both countries and became a winner in their nomination, as well as receive funding for its implementation.
