Students of the 10th and 11th grades of the Technical Lyceum of Kyiv visited Kyiv National University of Technology and Design in detail to learn about the specifics and conditions of training at the Department of Computer-Integrated Technologies and Measuring Technique.

In the specialized laboratory of technical means of automation, flexible automated production and robotic complexes, the head of Department of CITMT professor Zdorenko V.G. and associate professor of the department Kiva I.L. told the students of the Technical Lyceum about the peculiarities of the creation and management of pneumatic systems in production, and emphasized the importance of introducing microprocessor technology in modern control systems.

Associate Professor of the Department of CITMT, Ph.D. Barilko S.V. told about the means of designing and practical implementation of automated control systems based on microcontrollers. During the interview, specific examples of systems were shown.

Associate professors of the department Barilko S. and Lesovets S. have demonstrated systems of control of various objects of automation using industrial logic controllers. Also, for students of the lyceum was demonstrated the operation of a machine with numerical control, which was created by students of the Department of CITMT. As a result, the KNUTD emblem was created based on the program developed by the student of the department Lebedyuk T.

According to the results of the meeting, both sides expressed their desire for further active cooperation, and the students of the Lyceum expressed the hope that for some of them university will become home.
