Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design held III Ukrainian National Research-to-Practice Conference “Innovative Tendencies in Training Specialists in Multicultural and Multilingual Globalized World” on the 10th of April, 2018.
The conference took place on the initiative of the department of foreign languages of the Educational and Scientific Institution of Modern Education Technologies. The co-organizers of the conference were: Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Kyiv National Linguistic University, National Academy of Managerial Staff of Culture and Arts, National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.
The main purpose of the meeting was set to discuss theoretical and applied aspects of linguistic education of future professionals.
The conference was divided into three sections:
The plenary session was opened by the Acting Rector, Pro-Rector for Research and Innovation Professor Doctor of Engineering Viktor Kaplun.
The participants were greeted by the temporary acting headmaster of Educational and Scientific Institution of Modern Education Technologies
Doctor of Engineering, Professor Ihor Panasiuk.
The head of foreign languages department, PhD, associate professor Julia Bondarchuk drew attention to the importance of foreign language training in today's globalized world.
Over 140 students of Kiev National University of Technologies and Design participated in the conference.
Overall, more than 130 representatives of the teaching staff, young scientists and students not only from Kiev National University of Technologies and Design and co-organizers of the universities, but also from other leading Ukrainian universities spoke at the conference and submitted their abstracts.
During the conference participants were informed about the general work experience of the department of foreign languages of Kiev National University of Technologies and Design and joined the discussion about a number of practical issues that have been arisen during the speeches.
The conference was held on the high level of professionalism and organization.
