Today, September 18, the 30th Assembly of the Magna Charta Universitatum took place in the program of the 800th anniversary of the foundation of the University of Salamanca (Spain). During the meeting of the Assembly, the solemn accession of the new participating universities was held. Our university, as one of the leading in Ukraine, represented by the rector, academician Ivan Gryshchenko, also signed and joined the elite European academic community of universities, thus reaffirming the main values, rights and responsibilities of the university as the key educational and cultural institution of society.

By signing the Magna Charta, the university has demonstrated its membership in the academic community, which, by overcoming political and social barriers, forms the principles of European integration into a society that provides all citizens with the necessary rights and freedoms, a variety of comparable and adequate services in the field of culture, science and education.

Congratulations to the staff and students on this outstanding event, as this is the result of the combined hard work of the entire university!
