On March 21, 2019, teachers from the Department of Entrepreneurship and Business took part in the workshop “Facilitation in Teaching: Trend or Need?”, In which Ph.D. in Psychology, Associate Professor in the Department of Practical Psychology at Boris Grinchenko Kyiv University, shared their experiences and practical secrets, and Coach of the Leadership Potential Program for the Development of Universities of Ukraine (British Council, Institute of Higher Education of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine), co-founder of the T-Update Training Center – Nelia Lebed.

At the master class, the possibilities of using modern interactive methods in teaching, the technology of attracting students to active interaction and the peculiarities of using facilitation in teaching were considered. The teachers had the opportunity to experience the main modern techniques of facilitation: quick dialogues, a world cafe, brainstorming, mental maps.

The role of motivation and creativity in learning and work, skills in developing soft skills, the importance of forming critical thinking and values among students, and the possibility of STEAM education in the learning process were discussed.

The event was held in an interesting casual atmosphere, and the participants received new teaching experience.
